KØS engages two forward-thinking, internationally oriented curators to realise new strategic initiatives
KØS has appointed Charlotte Sprogøe and Irene Campolmi as senior curators to contribute to the realisation of the museum’s ambitious strategic initiatives for 2024-2025, including a permanent art historical main exhibition in the museum building, in interchange with significant international art projects in public spaces in Denmark.

KØS is Becoming CLIMAVORE
KØS Museum of Art in Public Spaces will remove salmon, pork and avocado from its café menu as KØS joins the London based artist duo Cooking Sections’ extensive community project Becoming CLIMAVORE.

Bjørn Nørgaard's cartons for the tapestries are not currently on display due to sound work on the 3rd floor
If you come to KØS often, you will be greeted by a new sight and sound, not least, when go to the museum’s third floor. Normally, Bjørn Nørgaard’s colorful cartons for the Queen’s tapestries hang under the rounded ceiling, but now as part of Realistic Utopias the sensuous and poetic sound work of the American visual artist Victoria Keddie fills the dimly lit room.
