KØS Lellinge

From the spring of 2009, museum visitors have also been able to experience KØS Lellinge: A 300 m2 art venue located in the adjacent village of Lellinge. Here, the museum’s entire collection of three-dimensional works of art is exhibited.

Newly renovated, this art chamber is located approximately 6 km from the Køge museum. It is filled with models, preliminary studies, and sculptures that cannot be on permanent display at Nørregade due to space constraints. The opening of the new art chamber gives visitors the opportunity to gain insights into the artistic processes behind the sculptural works that grace Danish streets, squares, parks, and public buildings.
